Karley

Karley, born and raised in Mission Viejo, Southern California, began her career as a professional ballerina. She received a ballet scholarship to The Rock School for Dance Education and was recruited by Los Angeles Ballet after graduating. She danced professionally for 6 years in LA where sadly her career ended in injury.

After her injury Karley turned to Pilates for recovery, which sparked her interest in becoming an instructor. While finishing her 500 hour Pilates certification, she discovered Lagree; a workout that resonated with her more deeply because of the intensity and mind body connection. She was invited to teach by Lisa Goldsman, owner of Lagree213, and has now been a Lagree instructor for 6 years. Today, Karley is the owner of Blood, Sweat, and Tears, where she brings her dedication to creating an authentic and transformative experience to her clients.

Michael

Michael

Michael Chipman has been mentored by Sébastien Lagree, Senior MT Sharnee Lee Scott and Lagree213 studio owner Lisa Goldsman. As a passionate educator, Michael brings decades of experience as a college professor, writer, and private voice teacher to his work as a Lagree fitness instructor and teacher trainer.

Michael discovered Lagree at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and began practicing almost daily for a year. After years of practicing yoga and Pilates (in addition to triathlon and fitness training) he found the Lagree method to be so transformational to the body, mind, and soul he jumped at the chance to become a certified trainer, and he has been teaching Lagree ever since.

SOPHIE – With a background in professional circus acrobatics, she’s now pursuing her Masters in Nutrition. In class she pushes clients past their limits while making everyone leave feeling inspired & challenged.

ELENA CUOMO – Former Instructor converted from the dark side (Pilates ;), she’s celebrated for her warm & attentive personality, while also making sure to get her clients shaking.

AKILAH – With a background in fitness and wellness, Akilah’s classes are fun, challenging, and just the right amount of spicy. “My goal is to help you push past your limits, build strength, and leave every class feeling stronger and empowered. While I may be small in size, my classes bring big energy and a serious burn!

CADENCE – With 7 years as a professional cheerleader, Cadence brings uplifting energy and intentional movement to every class. She creates a supportive, welcoming space while still delivering a challenge that leaves you feeling strong, capable, and proud of yourself.
