Karley
Founder & Fully Level 2 Lead Instructor
Born and raised in Mission Viejo, Southern California, Karley’s journey began as a professional ballerina. After earning a full-ride ballet scholarship to The Rock School for Dance Education, she was recruited by Los Angeles Ballet & American Contemporary Ballet, where she danced professionally for six years before a career-ending injury changed her path.
Pilates had been part of Karley’s training throughout her ballet career, so after her injury, pursuing a 500-hour Pilates certification felt like a natural next step. It was during this certification that she discovered the Lagree Method. The high intensity, low impact workout immediately resonated with her, offering the mind-body connection and transformative challenge she’d been searching for. Training in Los Angeles, where Lagree was born, Karley was personally invited to teach by Lisa Goldsman, owner of the renowned Lagree213 studio.
Over the past six years, Karley has taught more Lagree classes than any instructor in Europe (over 5,000 sessions), making her the continent’s most experienced Lagree trainer. Her deep understanding of the method, combined with her background in professional dance and Pilates, allows her to deliver an authentic, results-driven experience that honors the original Lagree principles.
Today, as the owner of Blood, Sweat & Tears in Islington, London, Karley brings her passion for transformation and dedication to proper technique to every class, ensuring clients experience Lagree the way it was meant to be taught.

Michael
Level 4 Senior Master Trainer & Instructor
Michael Chipman is one of only five Lagree Senior Master Trainers in the world, directly mentored by Sébastien Lagree, the creator of the Lagree Method. Currently, Michael certifies more Lagree instructors than anyone else in the world. To date, he has trained over 1,000 Lagree instructors and personally certified over 100 new studio owners across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
As a former college professor at University of Southern California, published author, private voice teacher, and creator of the Do You Lagree? podcast, Michael brings decades of teaching expertise to his Lagree certifications, making them the most comprehensive and effective in the industry. His background as an educator means he doesn’t just teach the movements, he teaches instructors how to actually coach; ensuring proper form, cueing, and helping them create routines that actually work.
After discovering Lagree over 7 years ago, Michael began practicing almost daily for a year. After years of practicing yoga and Pilates (in addition to triathlon and fitness training), he found the Lagree Method so transformational to the body, mind, and soul that he jumped at the chance to become a certified trainer. He has been teaching and mentoring Lagree instructors ever since.

Sophie
A former professional circus acrobat turned fitness instructor, Sophie is now pursuing her Master’s in Nutrition. With 3+ years of coaching experience, Sophie brings a rare blend of athleticism and expertise to every class. Expect to be pushed to your limits in the most intentional way, and to leave feeling inspired, challenged, and ready to come back for more. Sophie is Level 2 Lagree Certified.

Elena
After starting as a Reformer Pilates instructor 5 years ago, she made the switch from Pilates to Lagree after falling in love with the intensity and full-body challenge of the method. Elena’s classes focus on strong form, hands-on coaching, and high energy. Expect accountability, a true 45-minute burn, and a little playful tough love along the way.

Akilah
With a background in fitness and wellness, Akilah’s classes are fun, challenging, and just the right amount of spicy. “My goal is to help you push past your limits, build strength, and leave every class feeling stronger and empowered. While I may be small in size, my classes bring big energy and a serious burn!” Akilah is Level 2 Lagree Certified.

Cadence
With 7 years as a professional cheerleader in Canada, she brings uplifting energy and intentional movement to every class. Cadence creates a supportive, welcoming space while still delivering a challenge that leaves you feeling strong, capable, and proud of yourself. Cadence is Level 2 Lagree Certified.
