Our Story
But in her early twenties, her path took an unexpected turn. At 24, a severe t-bone car accident left her with a back injury, forcing her to leave ballet, a life she had poured everything into. During her recovery, she discovered Pilates—a practice that helped her rebuild strength and offered a familiar mind-body connection. Determined to help others find the same relief and renewal, she pursued Pilates instructor training before discovering Lagree—a high-intensity evolution of Pilates that offered the powerful blend of strength, toning, and mind-body connection she had been missing.
In the midst of this journey, she met and married Phil Creek, an entrepreneur who, while falling in love with her, also came to love Lagree. Together, they embarked on a mission to bring this transformative fitness method to new audiences. Seeing the unique opportunity to create something truly special, they uprooted their lives in LA and moved to London just months after their wedding. This November, they’ll open their first Lagree studio in Angel, only the third of its kind in the city. In a landscape dominated by studios with raw, industrial designs, they’ve envisioned a more refined, feminine space—a studio created with women in mind, where strength meets elegance and transformation.
Karley’s story is a testament to resilience and purpose, guided by dreams and unbreakable discipline. She has created a sanctuary where others can find their own strength, purpose, and renewal—a place where everyone can live the mantra that has guided her own journey: Blood, Sweat & Tears.
